Do you think a hog-roast with a full pig and an apple in his mouth and a mutton-roast on full show will upset children at a wedding party?

I was well used to them as a child though grew up in the country and went to a lot of country shows where they were common.

Maybe have it as meat on a spit without the whole head thing if there are children there who are likely to be upset by it?

Maybe ask the parents what they think.
that all depends
what type of apple ?

Bimbo, badly worded question, but yes I do have a very fulfilling life I suppose. Could be better, but could be a lot worse.

ummmm, shouldn't children understand where meat comes from? They only have to walk past a traditional butchers and see half carcasses hanging up.

Serve the pig and the sheep and enjoy it.
Only if YOU don't keep your shirt and trousers on,and if you remove the apple from your mouth(or anywhere!)LOL
my mate had a hog roast with pigs head still on and most of the kids were saying 'oooh look at its eyes' some even asked if they could have the ears, they were fascinated
all children should know where food comes from so i wouldnt be concerned for my child to see a hog roast.
I don't think it would bother children but it will certainly bother any vegetarians
Yum! Just give 'em some crackling... Children are gruesome little monsters and I'm sure that a crispy, crunchy, dead piglet won't bother them at all. Especially after they've tasted it.
I once was a child you know...
abdul - i chuckled (and wondered!) at your question title. but...no, i don't think it would upset them. is it not healthy for people (including children) to see where our food comes from? or is it just us country bumpkins who aren't sensitive?
would you really want your child growing up thinking apples came from pigs mouths ?
Once upon a time my eldest son, then around 6 years old, thought baked beans came from Tescos.
