brie
montary jack
A good Cheddar - the stronger the better. One that makes your eyes slightly water!

(although Emmental is also very moreish)
I don't like cheese (except in burgers and pasta), but if I had to pick I'd choose Swiss, its the mildest in smell/taste
applewood
Muenster - especially the orangey outside part.
Agree with Rubyschmoo..a very strong Cheddar. Royal Canadian Vintage cheddar usually hits the spot.

Like most cheeses except the blue ones. I feel about cheese what many people feel about chocolate!!!!!

Stilton
Goats cheese, or Lancashire crumbly.
Hartington Blue, quite perfect
Lancashire or Lincolnshire Poacher
i'm lucky to live in Ceredigion with loads of local cheesemakers so my favourite is Cenarth Perl Las a slightly salty blue cheese
Dolcelatte with a digestive biscuit.
Mountain Gorgonzola, mmmm, heaven
My favourite has to be Beenleigh Blue which is a sheep's milk cheese - not easy to obtain - but if i cant get this i always get Cambazola Blue Brie.
Hartington blue,,or Stilton. I can't really tell the difference, but I do know that they are both made in Hartington which is situated in a wonderful area, on the borders between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Have visited the area on many occasions.

Try the cheese on toast for breakfast with a spread of marmalade on top. Absolutely delicious and will turn a few heads if you ask for it, as I have done, in top class hotels.

Applewood, its gorgeous
Yarl, it's lovely especially the garlic one, it comes from Cornwall and is wrapped in nettles, has anyone tried it ?
Halluomi - hmmmmm cooked on the BBQ
Chaumes - it smells like very, very old and dirty socks but it tastes like heaven!
