I was in Marks and Spencers today looking for a turkey, but all the dates on them are either before Xmas, or the 26th Dec. Would you be happy cooking a turkey that is use by 26th Dec?

Thanks in advance.

i think you'll find that most foodie things you buy now are dated 24th dec/ish like mince pies, i was always told that this is a ploy to make you think theye no good after that so will buy more!! I would have no probs eating a turkey dated 26th dec wotsoever? i hve been known to eat mince pies well into the following march, and i'm still alive (i think?)
