ush the corks inside the bottles?
Errrrr Push them too*
Don't try and push the cork in I did that once and the whole room was covered. I hadn't thought about the vacum type science bit just wanted to get to the booze.

Have you got a swiss army knife?
He ha we overlapped Boo!!!
My husband just got in from work - he says have you got a Phillips screw you could screw that in and pull out with a pliers - not sure if he's ever tried it though!!
Option 1:

Screw a screw into the cork, and use the prongs of a fork or a pair of pliers to pull it out.

Option 2:

A small screwdriver - upside down - on the cork. Lightly hammer the screwdriver until the cork has been pushed into the bottle. Use the screwdriver pointy end to keep the cork out of the way of the neck while pouring into a jug.

Option 3:

Tools - 1 pair of new tights, 1 jug, 1 clean towel.

Wrap bottle and hand inside towel, leaving bottle neck free.
Deep breath. Whack the top of the bottle sharply against the corner wall of your house.
Stretch clean tights over a jug, and pour wine through tights into jug - any glass will be trapped.

Option 4:
Go to the off licence and buy a cork screw.
The easiest way, is to use a kitchen cutlery knife. I have done it plenty of times myself. First take off the seal. Then place the bottle between your legs. Then bend down and push the blunt end of the knife slowly into the cork. This will force it down. Do not push down to hard or the wine will splash everywhere. Eventually the cork remains in the bottle and you may need to use the knife to push the cork back in the bottle as you pour the wine. This is the simplest and eastiest way
