Have have recently gone barmy for Crunchy oat/nut cereals, such as Jordans Country Crisp. I thought they would be healthier than some other cereal (as they contain oats/nuts), however the slimming world diet classes them as high syn..... I realise nuts are quiet high in calories, but is there any other reason why they are so high in calorie/syns?

thanks

Look at the sugar and fat content !
I was quite surprised when I looked on these packs of muesli type cereals .Stick to porridge with skimmed milk and add a bit of fresh fruit ..much less fattening.
