Does anyone know why Rich Tea are called Rich tea ?

It was a marketing ploy way back in its hayday. You see "Rich", you think "Ooooh! They look expensive! They'll look good on my coffee table!" Doesn't really work now though. Why's it called a coffee table? I only put tea on mine as i dont drink coffee???! Too many things!!
