Beetroot

I have lots of advice on how to pickle beetroot but now I need to know how long you can store it for once pickled?

Indefinitely!

Vinegar is a marvellous preserver and you will be able to help that process by sterilising the jars prior to use, completely submerging the beetroot in the vinegar and perhaps storing in the fridge, especially once opened.

You should know that we have enjoyed pickles of 5 years old but rarely do they last that long if we know about them!
