i was told many years ago that the "flake" used in the ice cream was the 99th thing cadburys made??

How strange!!

I thought that the choc flake was introduced when Mr Whippy came on the scene (tasteless) and easily pushed into the soft ice-cream, so this jazzed it up a bit and it was called 99 for the other reason given on the website. I am right in thinking this was before decimalisation?
