morning, Friday and the end of the working week for some. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

I have the council pest control officer coming around between 9-1pm so hopefully we can finally get this nasty matter sorted. I haven't seen the mice for a couple of weeks, perhaps they have gone...i sure hope so, it's been a bit of a nightmare to be honest.

Today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 12c which will be partly sunny apparently....

as i said the other day, the world is topsy turvey weather wise, up till now our weather has been very mild for this time of the year.
Keep plodding, works for me.

Once it gets cold mice will disappear.

the repair guy came and blocked up some gaps in the kitchen where they could get in, i hope it works.
Best mice gap filler I've ever used is steel wool.
They won't chew through it, causes them pain.

sounds good, i have coq au vin, which i was going to have last night but that's tonights offering. food delivery tomorrow.
They can chew through it, but they choose not to.
Causes too much damage to them.

you must have a pretty big freezer if you have to go so far for supplies.
i am glad i have a home delivery service, saves me lugging stuff home.
