Just exchanged our two air fryers for a Ninja. The air fryers which we both had for ages were so good. The Ninja is even better. Rarely use the oven now as so much can be cooked so well in an air fryer.
We don't use any oil though some folk do. Best ever baked potatoes too!
Wouldn't be without ours - between us we had the basic Philips model, and (much cheaper) the similar Lidl/Aldi versions - all work very well - just think of them as tiny (but powerful) fan ovens.

We have just upgraded to a twin oven Ninja air-fryer - a fantastic piece of kit - produces the best baked potatoes I've ever tasted and is great for sausages, bacon too. The frozen 'skinny fries' from Aldi come out better than any fast food restaurant.

It's even good for reheating yesterdays roasties into 'good as new' - something that I previously thought impossible.
And as the dish washer I can recommend the Ninja for ease of cleaning. Comes up a treat.
The dishwasher fairy says :

"Some air fryers can be a bit of a faff to get clean - the Ninja is much easier"
We are typing in separate rooms ... as you can tell ...
We’ve seen more of each other on this thread than in the house all day. :-)
Glad we could help with the healing.
Snap Gness - we also had an air fryer and it recently conked out and was beyond repair.
We've now got a Ninja and it's sooooooo much better than the air fryer that we had. You can cook so much more in it and it cooks a lot quicker without sacrificing quality :)
Our old air fryer had a paddle that used to move round to cook things evenly - which was okay for some things, but not for the more delicate items which would just break up. The top shelf was shaped round, but you couldn't put large items in because you couldn't use the central bit.
My missus cooks everything in the Ninja - lasagne, pies, pizza ... if it fits in, she'll cook it in the Ninja - you just need to find yourself a heat resistant container that fits nice and snug in the Ninja.

My advice - get yourself a Ninja :)
I have a Ninja air fryer/ grill but have not yet sussed out the correct temperature and timing for frozen chips. I seem to burn them!
Sausages, bacon, steak, chops, kebabs all grill beautifully.

The only downside is that you cannot actually properly wash the fan part and it does tend to become a bit greasy and mucky.

The grill plate and the air fryer basket are a doddle to wash. I love mine and like Gness and Dave have hardly used the big oven since the Ninja arrived.

Which ninja model is best there are so many??
That's the same one as ours, Giz. We were really happy with the old ones but have been amazed at the Ninja. Things seem to cook so much better than in the old fryers or the main oven.
If it doesn't fit....make it fit!!...and as for Ninja cooked sausages!
Not to mention perfect morning croissants.... :-)
I think we should be on commission here :)
I can't rave on enough about our beloved Ninja .... I gotta agree that the sausages we've cooked, are as good as any we've cooked using other methods.
We've cooked lots of things in our Ninja ..... apart from the obvious things like frozen chips, etc .... we've also cooked pies, pizza, lasagne, sausages, full chicken, bread, cake, crumble and even a full unbroken egg so it comes out like it's been boiled ......
You contacting the Ninja makers, Giz, or shall I? :-)
I'm easy either way .... as long as we split it 50/50 :)
Oh and another one that my missus recently found out - you need to try this:
Place a slice of dry bread in the Ninja. Put some slices of bacon on the bread, but don't do what my missus did on her first attempt - make sure you allow for the bacon shrinking, so put more on than you think. As it cooks, the fat from the bacon seeps into the bread and the bread and bacon cook and you end up with ...... well how do I describe it ..... a slice of cooked bread, slightly moist with the fat from the bacon with nice crispy bacon on top ...... yummy :)
had one wouldn't give it house room or rather kitchen room - have it about two years - was in the shed. Used it twice but gave it to nephew about two weeks ago. A monstrosity of a thing to have in your kitchen for two sausages and slice of a bacon.
Used twice? Then that's your fault for not knowing how to use it, JJoan.

Oh that sounds so good, Giz. Love bacon from the fryer and that would be bliss....maybe an egg on the side. Will get the chef onto it for tomorrow's brunch....well I say brunch. We're late risers so breakfast really...x
