Reasons For Cheerfulness

1. Not heard to the contrary so presume family is well.
2. I'm breathing so as well as can br expected.
3. Sun is shining. Shame it is taking the frost which looked so beautiful.
4. Boiler worked so house not as cold as usual when I got up.
5. I've enough logs for a fire later.
6. Got some fish for tea tonight.
7. I'm not a grumpy old man.

My reason for cheerfulness today, daughter and 2 granddaughters who are in my bubble will be round soon for their weekly visit.
They are the only people I get to see now I'm back to shielding.
lady J, I've never known PP to make a suggestion like that before. Perhaps you should take him up on his offer?

Perfect reasons to spend the day in a happy mood, with a smile on your face.
I agree with them all apart from No 5., that is only because we don't use logs.
We went for 4 days over Christmas with no heating as boiler went bang on Christmas eve morning. Luckily Son is a plumber and came and fitted us a new one, so we now have a nice new boiler and heat.
Definately a good reason for cheerfulness.

1. The pair of foxes who were just weeing all over my garden have left. I scared them off and they jumped over the fence into next door's garden so hopefully they will crap and wee all over that (serves the neighbours right for making loads of noise with a dry wall sander for the last 3 days)

I've got a few logs in, neighbour buys his coal in bulk, 30 plus bags at a time so buy a bag from him as when and we need one, it's only for our logburner with just adds a of a feature.

I'm cheerful because no one likes a grump :)
I'm cheerful because there's nothing I can do about the situation
I'm worried about in-laws but that's not making me a misery
I'm happy to stay in and stay safe
I'm happy my daughter has had her jab ( suffered a bit of a reaction like feeling fluey for a couple of days but reading the leaflet she got, this happens if you've had the virus and she did last March )
I'm happy we have a lot to be grate for, warm-house, cupboards fridge and freezer full, both healthy

NIce and warm plenty of food and snacks no family reports (nice one) and I haven't seen Better call Saul (Breaking bad Prequel) series 3 and 4... and I now have them. Happy day.

It is what could be classed as the smaller things in life that give us reasons to be grateful and happy. Yes, some other things might be nice but they can't alter our basis for happiness. No point in moaning all the time.

Mrs sqad: yes my love, because we have logs for the fire.
Sqad: Thank goodness, I slept like a log and woke up in the hearth.

sqad: yes, aren't I. I just can't wait to log on (lol log on..get it) to AB to see how happy the underprivileged are.
Mrs sqad: you are so kind and considerate my darling, I am so lucky to be you're wife.
