Lots of chippies with 'eat in' facilities have decent wine lists. (e.g. Ocean Fish Basket in Ipswich and Smiles in Beaconsfield, to name just two that I've been in). So there's nowt wrong with a glass or two of plonk with your haddock and chips! (
