My youngest sis was due in tomorrow but the ferry from the Channel Islands was cancelled so they have already landed and down at my eldest sister's - no doubt seeing them today. The middle sis is due in tomorrow evening......they're having a joint raid on the Mater's home to see her. Garden meetings for Monday and Tuesday and I was able to book the youngest sister a session this afternoon.

The heat is fine and when it comes to Sichuanese, the hotter the better. Eating them in Chengdu was quite an experience!
In Chengdu, the dining tables are more like classical British ones and not round, the two end flaps having holes in them to take the curry pots - usually a brick-red beef or lamb one at one end and then fish/offal in the other - the last meal I had up there was based around beef and for the second one, rabbits goulies....
