This isn't an argument but it shows your attitude to the discussion.
And the cooks - Winners sauce added etc.
Don't dine out much now but when I did, yes I have happily tipped if service has been good.

How much depends on the venue and situation.
Imagine TD when he's old and grumpy...
Pizza Express is a proper restaurant?
Really? I never knew that
You get good service in US restaurants because the waiters need your tips.

If tipping wasn’t the custom there, they’d get proper wages and your food would be more expensive.

If you can afford to go out to eat you can afford a tip for good service. Also, they’ll remember you if you go again and will look after you a little bit more.
I have a good tip I am willing to give - Dont eat yellow snow.
I haven't read the whole thread so not sure how and when it got fiery but I always leave a tip for any meal that's involved at the table waiting service. I'm surprised at those who don't, I wouldn't dream of not doing so.
These are not semi-insults, they are insults. As to the gardener; since he has been on here day and night for the past eight months at least, I don't think much gardening has been done. Maybe his erstwhile customers have wised up and sacked him.
I was being ‘kind’ jackdaw and you make a good point
Off thread and also implying a member shouldn’t post is a really beneficial addition to this discussion.
You’re coming across as Mr Angry, chill FGS
Tipping has become less relevant in the UK since the introduction of the minimum wage surely?
Bobbi I have no idea what kind of
vibe you pick up, but it’s wrong. Aggressive? Hahaha, if you say so!
Hate to say it, but I detect a less than relaxed bunny...
If you read the discussion you’ll see how i’ve discussed, instead of applied a personal opinion on a character and decided to pick at that, rather than what they are saying on a topic.

A good thing about AB is you get some wise, insightful discussions then sometimes you find hostility and malice over a divided opinion.

I suggest you try take words for how they are rather than how you read them. Maybe then you won’t find so much hostility on AB? It’s not unusual is it it certanly not just with me.
As you say pasta, hard to detect. I assume you don’t bother trying in the future.
I see you reverting to ‘type’ TD ( a fitting pseudonym)
//I assume you don’t bother trying in the future.//

???
I am not going to make any personal comments but I fear the rickety-raackety bridge is resounding to the sound of trip-trap, trip-trap.
