What about people with sports injuries, the problems of childbirth and infertility? All lifestyle choices......
No.

Strongly believe that infertility should not be funded by the NHS which was founded to help working people get free healthcare.
For sports injuries please refer to my other thread if you want to that is.
The biggest drain of the NHS is not the patients, but the pharmaceutical companies ripping them off for the drugs. They see it as a bottomless purse.

If the NHS expected a payment towards drugs for those with self-inflicted health problems then this would save millions a year.
Self inflicted as in they would not have that disease if they had not smoked, drank or eaten to excess.
What about people in London... The air pollution is so bad, it affects their health. They may as well smoke 5-10 a day. Should they have to pay extra for NHS due to higher pollution levels?
Question Author
No because the environment someone lives in is not self inflicted.
Simple. Stop paying for health tourism.

no, almost every ailment can be "self inflicted" to some extent.

You can’t expect a serious answer to a question that uses the term “self-inflicted” to refer to health problems.
The NHS isn’t “free” anyway. And never has been. It’s free at the point of use for many things, not all
