That is lovely Gness, what a treat for you.
Lovely picture. I hope it stays around, Gness.
The first of many.

I have the info that you have on along the bottom turned off on my cameras.

I also have my cameras set to take photos and videos.

Last year got a good video of hedgy eating a windfall plum - after scoffing the food I put out for him.

It is a nice treat.... :-)

I haven't played about with the camera much, Tuvok but I will now!

Thought you might like this book by Pam Ayres. She read some of it on Countdown recently and it is really funny.

Thank you, Ellie.....I know someone who will love that as a gift...x
You're welcome, gness
Awww he's gorgeous :)
Great capture gness!
Brilliant!

Can't claim credit....just tied the camera to a post and went to bed!...x
But you knew where to aim it. That's the secret.
Just wait until they're mating in your garden at midnight, snorting and making a racket ...

It's wonderful! Luck you.
What sort of camera and how does it work, Gness? We have hedgehogs in our garden on a regular basis. Tilly always manages to find them when she does her final ablutions.

I would love to be able to record the movements though. Not Tilly's movements...
Question Author
Well yes, Tilly....I aimed it at the food! It's a Maginon Wildlife Camera from Aldi......they may have them again but have a google around...x

I'll bet my snoring drowns them out, LB..... :-(

I am pleased, Toorak... :-)
Good idea, Gness. The food is where they will be.

So, how does it work so that you get a photo?
Question Author
When something passes by it it triggers and takes a photo or video....then I put the card in the computer and had a look.....you can view on the camera itself but it's quite a small screen....x
Thank you, Gness. Got it now. I thought it might be some sort of WI-FI camera that was a bit complicated. x
Well done, gness. There'll be a job on 'Springwatch' for you yet.
Question Author
Welcome, Tilly.......x

Only if they can stop me drooling over Packham and bring Martin back..... :-)
