Some out and about to do today, a visit to the canal is on the cards, always good.

Morning skipper :) it's been raining here overnight, very humid even with the window open. My main plans are to do my sunday crosswords today and a bit if gift shopping for my friends 90-something yo Mam, there's a sale for a local charity across the road today, I might go over and see have they anything worth buying, sure, I'll choose something just for the giving to the charity

Ummmm, just over on the Holiday question, I laughed as I felt you must have typed as you would speak, get off google,you don't have a child or whatever,not exactly verbatim but it made me giggle

Good morning all. Jet lag feeling nearly over so back to normal-ish sleep pattern.

Grass was so long I had to use the highest cut and push the mower with its front wheels off the ground. Could have done with a scythe. Fortunately, no unsuspecting frogs hiding in the grass were 'damaged'.

We did the same when we went to Indiana in 1999, we could have rented the grass out to the Royal Marines for jungle training. I used a strimmer for the first attack.
