I was on my emails there as my friend is corresponding - anyway - as you do I hit this wee button and that wee button and now I can't get back to my normal outlook.

The button I had hit was BETA and it brought me to the "new" email look. I have hit BETA again thinking I would revert to the old outlook. Anything I can do. I can't even read the emails in the new format. Thanks

Someone has found a solution if the button won't toggle.

mamy - tried to keep the little hand on beta

mine doesn't say "try the Beta" - just a little camera and BETA com

I kept the hand on for like 9 minutes but nothing happened

Close & Reload Outlook. If its same on server (ie Chrome) then open on alternate server.

tambo - I shut the whole thing down ie switched off - when I turned on again - just a black screen with the little arrow moving around this black screen. I panicked and turned it off again and now I am getting onto this site and others except the old outlook.

I am now afraid of switching off - I am unsure of how to turn off outlook on its own and trying another server - I am not techie savvy. But your answer was helpful. If I have the nerve to turn it off etc. How do I get onto another server etc.

Looked on emails there and there is no X - cross to turn off the outlook - can't find it

Mamy just wanted to let you know - the new format finally allowed me to send an email to my friend and at that point I hit the BETA button and whoosh back I am to my old outlook.

Now I know where I am. Thanks to you Mamy and Tambo for your wee bit of help. x
