Ambrosia Cream Rice
I can live without eating (or even seeing) tapioca or sago ever again.
I did like the lemonade powder that came in a tin ... turned your finger an interesting shade of yellow ...
Old English Spangles. They tasted great.
Banana custard and mince pies. I haven't touched either of them since I was about 6 years of age.
Spam fritters.

I doubt Jamie Oliver would approve of these as school dinner.
I loved spam fritters, sago, tapioca and ground rice.
I don't remember ground rice but I remember semolina which was ground durum wheat, basically the same as cous-cous.
Real beef with hard white fat on it.
I hated tapioca, or 'frog spawn' as we called it at school.

My mum used to make kidneys in bread rolls, which were delicious. Haven't had them for at least 35 years.
Never keen on kidneys (but could take the odd bit in steak & kidney pie) - but stuffed hearts really made me boak :+(((
Cow heel, and tripe cooked in milk had the same effect on me.
