Friday. Frosty this morning. The sky is fairly clear, some stars out to play.

After cancelling everything yesterday to be here for the wee men, they never turned up. Not even a phone call to say why or apologize. Phone calls will be made later. Annoyed doesn't describe it! I'm not cancelling today unless I have a guarantee they will be here.

Good morning .Dont like it when people let me down either .Just wait till there vechile arrives or you see them approach .Then just put on your coat go out the door and tell them shan't be long and keep them waiting ,choose 3 4 5 hours as appropriate .

I'll be on the phone to my contact at the council at about five past eight, give the girl time to get to her desk.

She's a sweetheart oz, A lovely girl, always very helpful. I don't have the phone number for the contractor or I would phone them direct. The council bods are not allowed to give it out.

Is she capable of "ripping into" contractors?

If so "arm" her with plenty of ammo ;-/

She's always polite oz, but by the time she's finished, the person she is having a go at doesn't know if they've been punched, bored or countersunk. brilliant! :o}

Haa Haa, my sort of girl.

Mum had issues with the mob that were supposed to supply her assistance, gardening, cleaning, transport etc.

I'm signed up as someone who can speak on her behalf.

Rang the office lady I've spoken to many times, lovely lady.

Phone call from mum 3 days later, "all my originals, cleaner, gardener, transporter that I like have been re-assigned to my account".

I'm not telling mum anything about my conversation with the office lady, but, she is still friendly and was disgusted with what occurred.

Thinking there could be "underlings" reeling from the shock ;-)

That sounds like my girl oz. A sweetheart, but you mess her about at your peril. She doesn't shout and rant, but by the time she's finished the recipient of her ire, doesn't need to open the door to leave, they walk under it!

Yup. Sun's over the yardarm somewhere in the world, I wouldn't want to go to bed on coffee. Counter productive.

Much easier to sleep with a belly full of grog than coffee.

Sleep comes easier, but, wee breaks are still there.
