At 10:30 on Tuesday, I ordered a new push-along Calor gas room heater on ebay. Only £54 incl p+p.

I picked this up from ARGOS yesterday, at 11:00 !

24.5 hours after ordering it ......I am terribly impressed !

I use EBay a lot and I've always been pretty lucky with them but don't think I've ever had anything in 24 hours! Excellent.

It's down to the particular trader rather than EBay - you ought to give him a good review.

I am a fairly recent convert to ebay...3-4 years at most. But its now my first port of call for pretty much everything, excluding food ! It comes into its own when you are trying to find something slightly out of the ordinary.

For instance, I have been looking for one of those spring-loaded coin holders, for £2 coins, as well as one that will take the new £1 coin. About 2 mins after logging onto ebay, I found both, reasonably priced, and they were delivered in about 3 days.

Whats not to like !

E bay is monitored by revenue now and traders over a certain amount get the word....don't know the ins and oots but a friend stopped his buying and selling on Ebay when he was sussed !

I, ordered the Gtech Air ram and multi from the company. They were delivered 15 hours later. They even sent me a tracker app, giving me the driver's name, so that I could see exactly where the van was and how long until he got to me. He was within 5 minutes of that time. I was impressed!

The firm I bought the gas heater from is a very large affair, and has been in business.in and out of Ebay for years. I won't mention them by name here, as that might be construed as advertising ! I will send an email directly to you Minty, if you are interested !

This heater was considerable cheaper than anything I could buy locally.

Amazon do quite well too, often packages that are a week away arrive next day, at no extra cost.
