While clearing out the kitchen for plastering I found a bottle of Cava Rosé.
It must have been there for years, questrion is, does it go off?
I'm hoping for 'no, it'll be fine' but can handle 'down the sink with it'. :-)

There's only one way to find out- pour yourself a glass.
I recently found a tin of honey that was unopened and dated 2009. It was delicious and there were no after effects
I think it'll be fine, the only way to find out though, is to open it. Good luck ;)
I recently found a bottle of Southern Comfort that had been in the loft for seventeen years. It tasted great. Don't know for sure about Cava, but I think it should be ok. Enjoy!

Thanks for your replies, I feel a wee seat out in the back garden and a glass of something cold n fizzy coming on this evening. :-)
Honey is a natural substance and will never go off
the cava will be fine
Get it quite cold - it may be rather 'excitable'.

Open with care - if it doesn't fizz, then bin it - otherwise Sláinte
I recently found a bottle of sherry with a price label in pesetas, but it was okay. Not fizzy, though.

I always thought the rules were spirits will keep a long while but wines-handle with care!
Probably won't taste great but won't do you any harm. Rosé is designed to be drunk young and loses its freshness when kept too long.
Dougie...I will be over later and we can find out !
