Lactose free milk is made using soy beans.
There are several types of lactose free milk, and one sort of lactose reduced milk. You can get milk made from soya, from oats - even from almonds. And every one tastes very different - even soya milk tastes different between brands and you will have to find one that you personally enjoy (because a lot of people have trouble with them). There is also Lactolite, which I have tried, but as a lactose intolerant, still makes me ill. I'm not sure what the point of it is, to be honest, but then maybe it agrees with some people.
