Sounds unlikely to me. Was the alternative to add cold or warm milk afterwards ? Personally coffee doesn't get time to cool much when I have it.
The rate at which things cool down has no relation to how they got hot. Don't try arguing. Female brains are wired differently and she'll tell you it stands to reason.
Just say, "Yes, dear", and carry on as usual.
... but when do you add the coffee ?
I must admit that when I warm food in the microwave, it don't stay as hot as they do if I warm it in the oven.
doesn't^
If all other things are equal something that starts of hotter stays warm longer. After all it must take a certain time to cool down to the temperature of something which starts at lower temperature. After that they both behave the same.
The mixture of both is deliciousness...
mochachino, mocha latte
the flavor combination of chocolate and coffee is named mocha
I don't think this is a straightforward issue. teh correct answer may be the counter intuitive one- for example why does hot water freeze more quickly than cool water?
