It came in a small pot and was an anchovy paste if my memory serves me correctly. Is this still available or the company sold on to a mega corporation and this product discontinued like all the others?

My brother like Gentleman's Relish, yak!
Sorry should have said I'm sure he gets it in Tesco.
Patum Peperium or something
Remember it? I have still got some! Of course, it may have been bought beyond living memory, considering the state of my larder. Anyone want some real cochineal? It won a medal in Paris in 1897.

Surely it is still made ? As I recall, without digging out the jar, it has on it the immortal rule for life "Spread sparingly". I have been spreading myself. or my talents at least, so sparingly that they are all but invisible.
Bought a jar recently in Waitrose, but still fairly easily obtained in many places.
Sainsburys have it - at least in larger stores
Made from anchovies, it must be very much an acquired taste.
I've always considered that the pot must cost many times what the contents does!

Awful stuff, but I'm sure I seen it in Waitrose
Sainsburys sell it. I love the stuff.
Have you had a sex change, mrs oversexed ?.
