I am, for one

Me,I have been for years!
However(secret) I cannot go near Bacon while it's cooking or I would not be able to help myself!(I have been good so far). LOL

I don't eat red meat but will eat poultry (free range and organic - it's nicer!) and fish.  And before anyone tells me off for being a hypocrite or 'pretend vegetarian' the main reason I don't eat red meat is that I don't like it!

I'm a vegan.
My dad is a vegan, so our family was raised with this type of diet, but I must admit I do now eat red & white meat and fish. (My mum shakes her head in despair every time she visits - all the healthy training gone to naught...)
Haven't touched meat for about 25 years - and burgers for even longer (ever since I managed to give myself food poisoning with one whilst teaching myself to cook in my youth)
I have recently become veggie due to environment sustainability reasons. I love veggie food!
I used to be a vege when I grew up in a city and knew not one thing about animal husbandry except what you were told in the flyers, etc. Then I moved to the country, married a farmer's son and learned that the only farm animal you really shouldn't eat is a chicken, because the ones you buy in the shops all live crap lives and they're so drugged up you wonder whether it's actually meat you're tasting - unless they're free range (but then again, there's a lot of stretching the truth goes on there too).
I've been a veggie for 28 years; have never been tempted to eat meat since.

Read "Not on the label" and it will put you off eating meat, drinking milk and buying prepacked salad for life.

I have been a veggie now for 3 months simply because I could not stand the thought of eating any food that has been through a processing plant.

The only animal product I have is raw egg yolk (organic free range) other than that the whole idea of meat and dairy mings me out. Anyone who has health problems, believes that dairy is good for them or just plain curious should educate themselves on the joys of dairy http://www.notmilk.com/

Ive been a veggie for 26 years. At first  the the smell of bacon frying was very tempting, but you get over it.But I now find the smell of  fried chicken and kebabs make me ill.Just a word of warning for new veggies. Dont eat too much cheese as a substitue for meat, its high in calores and fat.
