craft1948 -if only - they are sons future 'in-laws' and truly up their own posterior. Wife is veggie (for the moment) last year she was 'pescatarian' (sp?) and now she's thinking of becoming a Buddhist. I hope we get snowed in and they don't come lol!
Happy to come along! Be warned my rates are high and I will have to have my in-laws and Mr Cake tag along too.............still interested Clary? ;-)
I love vegetarians - couldn't eat a whole one though...
Oops, submitted too soon.

Lyall, I can get mushroom stock cubes in Waitrose and have also found them in a few good delis, particularly Italian run ones.

Mince meat can also be made with butter instead of suet, it's actually my preferred recipe.
Thanks Eccles, nearest Waitrose is 30 miles away but i have a couple of reasonably decent deli's that are nearer, not Italian though, but will give them a try.
