Roast chicken breast, chantanay (sp) carrots, cauliflower, brussel sprouts potatoes and petit pois. For Mic all the above but either minced or mashed after cooking. Followed by strawberry trifle, What did you have?

Roast beef (it's lovely and rare) roast potatoes, new potatoes, mashed swede, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower cheese and yorkshire puddings.

The meat is resting and the roasts are roasting :-)
Roast pork, roasties, yorkies, broccoli, carrots and green beans. We don't normally have a pudding as well, but we did today which was chocolate cheesecake with strawberries.

Spinach, burrata, basil, tomato and fennel salad. 'Twas lush! :)

I must say all the above sound lovely, but I've never had parsley sauce with Yorkshire pud,
roast lamb shoulder, pots, parsnips, cauli, carrots. Gravy HM, mint sauce. Bread pudding & brandy cream
we haven't had our dinner, we have it at 7pm. Pork in honey and mustard sauce is on the menu.

blimey fluff,I'm just thinking about some parsley sauce to go with a piece of gammon

and trying out a recipe for cauliflower fritters with chili and spring onion so wavering about the sauce
My good lady Carakeel is preparing food as we speak, due to my diet we are having smoked haddock with a good selection of roasted vegetables.

I loved mackerel until I was told they feed at the end of the sewer pipes. Really put me off and haven't eaten it since. Still don't know if it's true.
Medalions of pork tenderloin and apple hotpot with sage and mushrooms with smoked lardons,garlic and mushrooms,with roast potatoes,parsnip,broccoli,carrot and swede. The brilliant MrsJan can really do a Sunday meal yummmmmm.
Chicken salad for me, will have the roast beef I had planned for tonight tomorrow now....those fritters sound delish humbersloop ;)
Lasagne, vegetables and potato wedges, very tasty and even more so as I had dinner made for me today. Normally I do all the cooking in my household.

People just dont seem to eat breast of lamb any more, so cheap and so tasty. We had it a while back, the tastiest cut of lamb and probably the cheapest, ok so its a bit fatty!
I'd happily eat breast of lamb. Just don't see it that much.
