Cooking (rather than 'cooling'!) pork chops from frozen isn't a good idea. With fast cooking techniques (such as grilling) the middle of the chops would remain uncooked. With slower cooking techniques (such as casseroling) the chops would eventually cook all the way through but they'd be at the 'danger temperatures' (where bacteria can thrive) for longer than is desirable.

Simply defrost the chops in a microwave oven and then cook from chilled.
I have grilled slowly from frozen, tough as boots.
Defrost first.

ok thanks I rather thought i had to defrost first but was hoping to get away with it lol. Will defrost in microwave don't want to end up with boots like albaqwerty. thanks both
defrost them first much better, you can use the micro wave if you have too
To help speed up defrosting I put mine in a casserole of cold water.
