Just watching This Morning . I don't think I would be cooking in my best clothes without an apron. I would have flour and bits where it should not be.How many of you can cook clean I certainly can't and my kitchen is like a tip when cooking whilst theirs is immaculate. I know it is a show and everything is prepared .But just not in real.

lol Alba . Just like me lol xx
Im forever wiping my hands on my clothes when at work. I wear a pinny most of the time at home, depending on what Im cooking. Even Christmas morning I dont put my `best` clothes on until dinner is practically served up, so I dont smell of cooking aromas
I don't get too messy, but I use every utensil and pan in the house!
AC, that sounds like Ma Alba, he'll cook steak with all the works. Sliced oniona on a plate, tomatoes on a different one, mushroms on a third, chips on a fourth, you get the picture? :-)

Who gets to do the washing up?

We don't have steak very often.
Ma Alba? gawd, MR alba :-)
I am the world's messiest cook and can destroy a kitchen just by walking in there. If we have friends coming, I do all the cooking and then shower and change at the last possible minute, otherwise I look terrible. I only have to look at a bag of flour and I am covered in it.

I want to kill Nigella.
Pah... I've only got to walk in to a room and chaos ensues according to man hostage.
I can't even make toast without destroying the kitchen.
I e=would be covered in what I was cooking ,however ,my daughter has always been one of those people who remain clean what ever ! She could wear white jeans ,as a child , play with friends do all the things that they did ,they would look like they had a mud bath and she would only have grubby knees and hands !

I am so glad there are more like me out there . I thought I was the only one.
i always wear full cover-up gear. can't bear the smell or evidence of cooking on my clothes.
I dont even own a pinny, but my mumused to have loads, always with a pocket on the front filled with all sorts of nonsense...
I'm with BM, if I have people coming over for dinner, then I make sure I get everything ready beforehand and then quickly run upstairs and get myself showered and ready. That way, by the time they arrive, I'm fully made-up and making the whole thing look like a doddle :-)

I have one pinny.....it's black with skulls and crossbones all over it.
I clean up and wash whatever utensils I use as I go along. My clothes never get messy or dirty but they do smell 'foody'.
Don't own an apron either. My kitchen might be a tip but I seem not to become besmirched. Mostly cook from scratch, soups, pasties, casseroles.
I'm really messy I usually have to change my clothes after baking. After I've cleaned the floor. I have a friend who is so neat and tidy. Her cakes are perfect, pies, scones and sausage rolls, mine are wonky looking but Mrask always says he enjoys them.
