OH brought home a rolled lamb joint today, will it be ok to cook in a slow cooker?

Is it shoulder or leg?
its more likely to be shoulder than leg but I've done both in the slow cooker -I do mine on high setting for no longer than four hours. You could of course unroll the joint and cut it into pieces and make a curry or casserole.

It's a boned and rolled leg. We tend to like our lamb quite well done so was going to put it on the low setting for a good while.
