Bag Packing Fail

So I get into the gym changing room this morning, put my clothes in a locker, standing there starkers, open my gym bag ...

I've got two left shoes from two different pairs of running shoes.

I pull my gym kit on to go and buy some trainers at the gym shop ... and I've got this ponky gym top that hasn't been through the wash.

New trainers bought, ready to work out ... and there's no top for my water bottle.

My gym bag is always ready to "grab and go". Well, actually, that's obviously not true, but it SHOULD be.

Do you sometimes find that the simplest things just don't go as smoothly as you planned?

Sadly, it was me who packed the bag, but I can't work out how I got the shoes wrong. They're completely different. Trouble is, I don't check my gym bag when I go, coz its meant to be ready to "grab and go", as I've mentioned.

Tenrec ... it made a couple of other people laugh, too ... but I suppose if I was getting changed, and it had been someone else standing there holding two different left shoes, and thinking "What the ...?" then I would have found it funny, too.

murray ... LOL ... although my shoes did not "fit" ... ha ha, see what I did there?

I knew I shouldn't have mentioned the fact that I'd already got undressed before finding my odd shoes.

I just thought it might set the scene a bit.

For a woman in a room filled with other women? Oh hell yes, we'll (normally) anyway do it in stages, ie, top off, new one on, then bottoms off, new ones on...etc. trying our utmost to keep as much of our body out of sight of other woman as possible.

A few years back I used to play squash with my brother in law, we used to go for a pint afterwards. One night we were sitting in the pub with our drinks. I noticed I was getting some funny looks from people, staring at my feet. Looking down, I was wearing one squash trainer and one "everyday "trainer"! (One was white, the other, black!)
