Tinfoil or no tinfoil?

I'm heating up a lasagne in the oven. Should I cover it with tinfoil while I'm heating it or not? What difference does it make?

For a crispy top to your lasagne, I'd leave the tinfoil off.
I would cover it for 2/3 of the time and then remove the foils to allow the top to brown/crisp up a tad.

Not using foil will let the lasagne dry up as the moisture will evaporate.
I'd not think it necessary

I'm not cooking it, just heating it up as my mother cooked it yesterday.
If you are reheating a lasagne, make up a bit of cheese sauce and pour that on top

no tinfoil.
I stand by my comment.

crispy but moist not dry.

It's in now with tinfoil on and after a while I'll take tinfoil off and throw some cheese on.
My oven has one of those built in grill thingies ....speeds things up somewhat.

Nah snags, no extra cheese here. Guys I had this in the oven for 15 minutes with tinfoil over it and when I went to check it, it was cold. I took the tinfoil off and 10 mins later it was okay. That's the last time I use tinfoil.
Why, on Earth, do people call this stuff "tin foil"? It's aluminium!
Because it was made from tin before it was made from aluminium and the name stuck.
Ah, a bit like the Gas Board, Water Board etc?
Yep, and GPO for phones.
