Tuesday evening
Put four eggs into a saucepan, turned it on, then wandered off to do some reading. Half an hour later my O.H. says 'What's that smell?'
Result: four brown scorched eggs and a ruined saucepan.
Thursday evening
Table set, salad made, potatoes boiled.
Open fridge door to get out tinfoil covered chicken
Thought, 'This feels heavy.'
Took off tinfoil to find I'd forgotten to cook it
Result: Tuna salad
What will I do today?

lol Tilly. That is the sort of daft thing I would do.
A few weeks ago, I browned some beef to stick in the oven, made up a casserole with it and wondered off and did something else. after about an hour I thought I'd see how it was doing - it was still sat on the side, whilst the oven was cooking NOTHING.
