Smug couples who say 'when are you going to get a boyfriend?'.

I knew there was something else I meant to get at Tesco this morning. Silly me!

You'd never hear a single person say that to another single person. And maybe I don't want some bloke rocking up and screwing things up. Gggggrrrrrrrr!!!

I wouldn't dream of saying that - how horrid.
So when are you going to get a boyfriend?
I remember my Nan saying that to me when I was single.
Once I was married she then switched to "are you pregnant yet?"
It used to drive me mad.
Arrrgh; I'm in a couple and hate it when I hear others ask people that! Also dislike being asked if my boyfriend and I will be getting married and having children, yes we've been together a long time and yes we probably will at somepoint but it's not any of your business!
good for you evianbaby.

being alone does have it's advantages.
i've always been single
Calm down dear, they're only patronising you.....
Quite right women dont need men in their lives.
It's not something I think about tbh.

It's so rude, offensive and depending on my mood, upsetting.

Agree with you there Sophie. People used to ask my ex all the time when he was going to propose. In the end he just started saying I'm sure I will soon. That led to a hole load of other shitness when we broke up.
Here here Evian, makes me want to scream lol!
It's worst coming from my grandparents who want to know when I'll be 'making the great grandparents'! I think those sort of questions are up there with "Cheer up love, it might never happen!" in the annoying scale.
*making them
"When are you two going to get married, then? :-)"
"As soon as I get my herpes cured..."

Usually does the trick...

I currently have several people trying to pressure me into signing up for online dating. For some reason they don't understand that I'm not interested.

Maybe there's something missing in their own lives.

Lol Sophie, agree and agree. You're just making me more angry ;)
My mother spent years asking me when I was going to give her grandchildren. She only shut up when I said ok, but she wouldn't have a son-in-law. Fortunately for me my brother obliged soon afterwards.
Lol Bambi....

I can understand people wanting those things, wanting to be grandparents, wanting to see you settled and happy with someone. They just need to learn how to keep their gob shut :)
Personally I'd settle for screwing and rocking things up...........
You wanna get some cream for that Markrae
