WISELY...!
Invest it. Then you can live off the interest!
Don't forget to spread your risk with your investments though!

I'm tempted to visit the newsagent and see if I can buy a blackjack or fruit salad.

I might even try weighing a sprout when I go to the supermarket.
Question Author
Ok, so you're all savers and I'm a spender!
"weighing a sprout" ... has me chortling and I've honestly no idea why ....

< dave wanders off to find phone number of friendly psychoanalyst >
If your feeling flush, catch up with dave & offer to pay for 3p worth of his psychoanalyst visit? Might be a short visit though....
Try not to spend it all at once!!
put 3 pennies in your christmas pudding and watch relatives choke.

make sure you film it, it could "go viral" or at least get you £250 from harry hill (see you gotta think of the bigger picture)

Dave, I'd have to weigh and stick the price label thing on. If I didn't do that can you imagine the embarrassment, a long queue of people behind and when I get to the front, the cashier weighs my sprout and tells me it's going to cost 4p and I only have 3p. I couldn't cope with the shame.
I can't believe I'm typing this but.....

I bought 4 brussel sprouts yesterday and they cost 21p so are out of your price range I'm afraid! They were for my parrot by the way lol

Nibble I think I should put the 3p towards my own psychoanalysis!

Ankou, there's only two of us at home this Christmas, sounds like a bad game of Russian Roulette to me!
Ah dg, but you forgot to select carefully, then weigh the smallest, just maybe we'd find the elusive 3p sprout
Question Author
LoL @ Lisa. Thanks for the tip though ;-)
They were medium sized ones....am sat here giggling now....actually went through my till receipt to find out how much they were! Dave loves them though, nearly as much as biting me!

I adore brussell sprouts - I much prefer them to turkey (yuk).

So they cost about 6p each.

Cut one in half and present it at the counter!!
I read that Dave loves them almost as much as biting you before I read the post about Dave being a Parrot!! I thought Dave was your partner, Divegirl!!
I've had a bit of a windfall too. An e-mail from the lottery tells me I won £2.20 on last nights Euro Lottery.

The worlds your oyster then Sandy, or a big bag of sprouts!
Oh you're just showing off now Sandy!
