Has anyone tried it, and if so, did it compare favourably with Hellman's?

No you haven't tried it, or No it didn't compare favourably with Hellman's, DT?

Thanks Red.
I just wonder how different it can be...
I found Hellmans more creamy and a little richer in taste. Hellmans works far better on (i) fries and (ii) cucumbers - inside seeds taken out, skin off, some chives and cracked pepper.....

Havent tried Aldis in a sandwich,
hellmans and heinz ones have different tastes but aldis is certainly more like hellmans.
I liked Aldis mayo and I even buy the chilli mayo, it's got just a little kick!
only on the cornflakes.

Hello,I'm from the UK but Live in Greece. Here in Greece, there are not many Aldis but I buy a delicious mayo from Lidl. It is the one with the blue top (They sell 2 types here in Greece). I find it is better than well known brands. Give it a try!
just checked mine its mayo.with herbs, orange top.

Thanks Val, I will.
Its a smoky pepper taste, mrs chappie with a nice little kick to it - a relative of a chilli

In Texas there is a company called Sischer and Weisser who make a lovely bottle of raspberry chipotle that is wonderful - its a brilliant condiment to lamb, pork, chicken, and ham/bacon - and good with cold turkey as well - a little RC and mayo in a sandwich.

I havent seen it down here in the SW sticks but it may be available closer to the bigger cities. Well worth looking ot for. What I am doing though is trying to get a local couple to make some as they produce a good Chipotle Chilli Hot sauce, in addition to her (wonderful) cakes - and now that the rasp season is all but upon us, we shall see.
sorry a typo there, Fischer and Weisser
I've just looked at my jar of mayo from Lidl. It has a blue top and vita D'or written on the front. I could eat the whole jar in one go as it is so delish!
mrs chappie steer clear it`s YUK!!
