What company runs the very dark blue planes that fly regularly in and out of Heathrow? (this was a few years ago so may have changed).

KLM
Probably United Airlines. They had navy blue/battleship grey. That was a few years ago.

I've just checked, United have white lower halves and KLM white upper. These were almost black with no white or anything else and flew over Brentford regularly for years but couldn't see a logo on them.
United have white now but they were navy underneath with battleship grey on the top half. Royal Jordainian are black.

Royal Jordanian? Black though, not blue

Not the last two Hopkirk, one was defnintely two tone whereas mine (a few times an hour whenever I watched Brentford) was a single almost black blue. I have checked elsewhere and this is the likeliest candidate as I don't remember if it had anything on the tail- Britannia Airways.

When you say a few years ago, how many years? It wouldn`t be Britannia. They were charter and didn`t fly into Heathrow.
Question Author
I'd say the most recent sighting was in 2004, the last visit to Brentford FC, and a few flew over the ground in every match I went to for about 8 years.

So far the closest into Heathrow is Air New Zealand but the markings are quite a bit more than I remember, plus I doubt you get a few per hour like the ones I saw for a good few years from about 1998-2004 at least. I'm still checking. http://4.bp.blogspot....AirNZ+black+plane.jpg
