I know Cazzzz.....I'm not a massive meat fan. I'm trying to dwindle the meat down bit by bit...and no one seems to be noticing :-)

I do really like duck though...
Dexelle indeed. Mushroom & onion paste. Why are chefs so pretentious ? Do they learn it at cheffing school ? (They even do this sort of thing at work's canteens these days. <in huffy voice> "It's NOT a gravy, it's a Jus, and it's pronouced jew".)
i enjoyed Tabouleh for lunch..my partner has just arrived home...following pleasantries
i enquired about Dinner.....Lamb Sheesh Kebab and Tabouleh, she said.....Oh Dear!!
Thanks mercia, sounds lovely. I could just eat that now.
I want fishcakes now, Ummmm. I did promise my mum I'd cook her a seafood paella on Sunday.
We will be having stir fry of some kind... along as I can find a stir fry sauce in the shop that does not contain any wheat! Surprisingly difficult!
It's not pronounced 'jew'

I don't usually have a starter and a pud unless I am eating out!

Once I've eaten my dinner that is that.

Wiggal - but it's so easy to make your own stir-fry sauces!! Just thicken liquid with slaked cornflour (that means mixed with water to a milkyness so there are no lumps) add to liquid and cook gently while it thickens (goes from cloudy to clear in a minute or so) by liquid I mean: (you'll need about a teaspoonful of cornflour)
Juice of 1 lemon (roughly 4 tablespoons) same of water or stock, light soy sauce, then add things like shaoxing rice wine, (or dry sherry) toasted seasame oil, 5 spice powder, or BBQ seasoning, tomato puree, whatever you've got. Even a crumbled oxo cube thickened with a little cornflour would do!
If you want my recipe for sweet and sour sauce just ask.
pasta
Prawn and chilli fettuccine
Home made pork & paprika sausages done in a tomato sauce with mascarpone, probably with rigatoni or even tagliatelli, if I get the pasta machine out. Pinot Grigio to wash it down.
Bacon sandwich. I can't be bothered to cook for just me.
very nice and a bottle of your finest bordeaux I hope

Invitations?

I do like my beef very rare though.....
I will be having a pizza (in peace, when they've all gone to bed). What are jersey mids? Are they pots that are not quite new?
Question Author
