i havent and the kitchen is a mess,can someone pop over and give me a hand,fill up dish washer,pack washing machine,clean worktops,put soup in a container and put things back in the fridge.thank you.

Er, you mean that you're meant to WASH dishes?

Perhaps that explains why my rubbish bin seems to fill up at roughly the same rate as the stocks of cheap plates go down in the local charity shops ;-)

The dishes are in soak, that's a start... I usually set off the dishwasher before I go to bed.

Sherrardk - with that many people, I'm sure I'd find space, or chat to landlord, pull out unit and store for reinstallation when you move

Amazingly, my daughter did them!

I leave them soaking in hot water and washing up liquid for a while. Wash then leave them to drain overnight. Put away in morning.

I always do the dishes after I`ve cooked a meal whether it be a snack, meal for two or christmas dinner, and dry them and put them away

Whereas my missus will either leave them til the morning or put them in the dishwasher

my dishwasher is loaded!......worktops wiped down, all tidy!..............I hate to get up to a messy kitchen!............never do it!.............
