I am just off to cook lamb shanks in minted gravy with colcannon with runner beans and cabbage, and plenty of mint jelly. Has no one else eaten today?

But have some peppadew peppers stuffed with cream cheese and capers to have with my G&T and some piri piri chicken waiting to go in the oven that will be served with tomato & coriander rice and a green salad.

I have been banished from the kitchen as my youngest two children say i do too much and deserve a rest now and again.

Not complaining but also slightly apprehensive as to what will be placed in front of me for dinner. What ever it is I will try and be as gracious as possible!!

my gorgeous man made me a roast, chicken, stuffing, yorkshires, swede, roast potatoes and parsnips while i had a snooze

as i usually eat in my local restaurant 5 days a week, and her indoors cooked me a yummy paella yesterday, i roughed it today and just had a supermarket ready to go in oven barbeque flavour pizza(huge size) washed down with some posh rioja
