Something that our family never do - Well, not the adults. Are we alone?

I have only worn one once and then it was a Star Wars one in protest!
I dislike them too tacky
i dont wear jumpers, full stop. i am getting to the age when im too old for a hoodie, but not yet old enough for a cardi
I don't like them at all
I don't like them either, Pat. Don't know why and I feel mean when I see jolly people wearing them...but I just can't.

Now Christmas knickers....well that's different! ;-)
With or without jingle bells?
Christmas knickers? Where do you get those from? Don’t know why I’m asking - no-one to show them off to now!!
This year I have bought a Christmas jumper. It’s very low key, and I’m really pleased with it.
Bells and tinsel, Helen. Helly, with the wind that's coming you could show them off to the whole town.
Don't own any, and too mean to buy one - even if I wanted to!
No...no...no...it would never enter my head to consider one.

Bednobs. I wear hoodies happily, mostly indoors, but cardigans - no way. I'm 74.

Christmas knickers Gness.?No way -I stick with my knee length bloomers!

I find them tacky too Red. I find all the Christmas clothing tacky!!

I wore a Xmas t-shirt once...
Jumpers would be a waste if time & money, as I would whip it off after 5 mins, as I would be too hot!
I've never had a Christmas jumper but, in many ways, I'd quite like to have one. (The sillier the better, of course!).

However, as I live on my own, there's nobody to see it here and, as I normally wear a jacket or coat when I go out shopping, nobody else is going to see it anywhere else either. So it seems a bit pointless for me to fork out for something that nobody except me will ever see :(
Well your cats may like it, Chris?

Oh Pat! You really must put some twinkly lights around the knees of your bloomers. That would look fantastic.... :-)

:))
Gness, I hope those strong winds doesn't effect you too much tonight/ tomorrow?..

Patsy. There is no way I could wear any jumper indoors at Christmas. I die of heatstroke
Question Author
I would die!
I live in jumpers and anything else I can layer on in this windy weather.
And I own a couple of cardies...but they are definitely not classic buttoned up numbers.
Thanks, Patsy. If they don't come from the sea we may be okayish. Many shops and stores closing for the day just in case. Hospital appointments cancelled. Dave and I both had appointments in Killarney tomorrow. No intention of driving over the mountains in the predicted weather! Strongest warning we've had in a while.

Dave suggested folk tie themselves onto something big and heavy and offered his services. Five women in the village replied. :-)
Have to say it's a nice feeling, not being the most miserable OG in the room for a change.
^^^^
Lol!
A bit scary isn't it.
I suppose you could tie yourself to Dave?..
