Getting older is when you avoid looking at your reflection in shop windows, because that old woman can't possibly you.

I'm told it's when you start telling your children to turn the TV/sound system/consoles down! At the moment, I'm still OK with teh noise, but i can feel the time approaching!!!!

....being asked more often if I'm under 60, with a quizical look.

Worse, the man in B&Q just went straight in and asked if I had my diamond card for the over 60's with me. I thought I was ok about it, but the look on my face must have given me away.

A nearby member of staff started to laugh and told him 'now you've done it!'.
When I was 46, I tried to 'sneak into' the over-50s session at a local swimming pool ('cos it was the only public session available at a suitable time for me).

When I asked for a ticket, the assistant simply asked me, "Do you qualify for our over-60s discount?". Ever since then, I've given up worrying about my age ;-)
Lol rabs you shouldve demanded the 10% discount on emotional torment grounds

lol
