I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

I sent myself some ginger wine from England and that didn't taste the same, only had one glass and to me it is a winter drink, so it'll last till next year!

Just made a beef stew in pressure cooker, hope it's ok.
Well I ambled out expecting to find the Sally Army doing xmas carols when I got to the shops, it really is that bleak. Found a pretty pearly lustre china mug in charity shop for 50p...it's obviously new there's still a bit of the sticky label on the bottom....so I'd like it topped up with Remy Martin please.

I knew they'd drive me to drink one day
Hi I've arrived and to prove it I'm 'ere!!
I've had a bottle of Ginger wine for about 15 years and never opened it. What do yer reckon!! Just had a Bailys in my coffee - luverly!

Laters 'gaters!!
Just had a luverly beef stew!

My toe is aching and that which shall not be mentioned is itching like mad! Mr N has a bad cold so will probably go to bed , hija will have spanish tv in the front room and I will have to squint at her 14" in her bedroom to see Torville and Dean on Piers Morgan, oh life is so unfair!!
Never mind Neti at least you know where Hija is and safe and sound! :) When you've seen T & D please let me know what they said when Piers says "Well did you ever?!!"
I can't be bothered to watch the rest. I like the Mentalist on 5.

I'm off now so I'll say oight oight All My Biddyfriends everywhere.
See yer later'gater(s)
Can tell you now jude, they admitted that they "dabbled".
Ooh I say Neti ....I hope they took their skates off :)

I watched a crime thing on C5 on catch up called Jack Taylor with the lovely Ian Glen ( Prisoners Wives ) .It's set in Galway and the story was based on those Magdelan laundries .It was good .

I am drinking water, lots of it...realised today that yesterday all I had to drink was a cup of coffee, a can of orange pop and a small glass of wine...was heading the same way today so am working my way through my second bottle of water.
Morning All. Another dullish day. I'm off out now to Fuschias for my cuppa haven't been on a Saturday morning for 3 weeks so looking forward. Then tonight we've been invited to another 70th birthday party so I expect we'll be organising who's driving who!!
I hope you're all have a peaceful and pain free weekend. Talking of pain have had to make another appointment with Carlos as I now have 2 different fingers crackling out loud so they say he would want me to go back and prob have another injection like he did the other one Ughhh!! Thought I'd done with that hospital for a while.

Thanks Neti that's satisfied my curiosity.. was it worth watching. I watched The Mentalist but fell asleep so missed the end. :)
Anyway laters 'gaters...
Morning all...'tis dull Jude....and cold. Sorry you've got another stint at the hospital, hope they sort it for you.
Had a rubbish night with the sinussy/sore mouth thing making me cough and have you heard of Burning Mouth Syndrome? That's how I feel all the time at the moment.

Seems we've lost another local resident from down the road, a lovely old chap ....well, he was lovely after he lost his wife. They hardly spoke to anyone while she was alive, she ruled the roost, such a shame. I used to stop and have a chat with him if he was standing at his gate and it was sad to see his spring flowers in the garden yesterday. That'll probably mean another lot who rarely speak and no one hardly sees.

I didn't used to like Torvill and Dean but they're better now and seem to have developed a soh. In their early skating days they were so very 'un-Nottingham'.

woo! I won the lotto....stay back! What can I buy with £2.50?
Robi I know who you mean. I walked passed today and looked at his flowers coming through and I thought about him because he usually wanders out and says hello. I didn't know he had passed on.

Hello all. Went out to a local fair this morning. There's a garden place locally which is also daycare for people with learning difficulties and they do the most amazing plant stalls. Single perennials and also beautiful planted tubs and baskets. They have branched out into huge wooden tubs and troughs which they also sell empty. They are about 3 feet by 18 inches and heavy solid wood painted dull blue /green and that vintage creamy colour for £12 each delivered!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have just re read. It think that T and D were shy when they were younger. I am sorry to hear about your neighbour Robi. Its funny how ages ripple round in houses. When we moved in there were loads of young children, then they grew up and the estate got quite middle aged, now the children and appearing again as houses are sold.
Afternoon all, have been busy.

Jude there you go dashing about again.

I only watched Piers Morgan in bits and pieces as was watching Stella on Sky 1 as I was allowed to have he front room tv. I am hoping to download it as it seemed very good and Christopher Dean was explaining about his sad childhood. She tried IVF and said it was a very sad time and she adopted 2 children in the end, hope I can see it all.

"At least I know where hija is" she told me at 23.30 that she was going out for dinner with a policeman friend, I was so disappointed, as I knew she wouldn't get up for the market at 6am, so after a couple of mins of me disaproving, she changed her mind and stayed in, hurrah! She made a small amount at the sale, enough to help pay of her debt which I also saving for!
"Who's that not knocking at the door??....."

I hope you are not all out and about and carousing, I am in bed, yes I've given in and had a bath, am itching like mad (woofy is that normal?) and have stubbed the damned toe on a UGG boot and it hurt like hell!!

Mr N finished up the stew and I made macarroni cheese a huge plateful just for moi! Hija is sort of eating when it suits her!
Oh Robi, when I was out having coffee; my great nephew from Oz (he's autistic) chatted to me on FB, I was pleased and delighted, he didn't say much but called me Great Aunty L...... (what!!) so I put him right pdq! He's in Roleystone in Perth. Isn't technology amazing??
Err anyone? what is jude on about????
