My wife walked out 2 months ago with for no other reason than she needed to "find herself" she wont talk to me and has sent me a letter trough her lawyer stating that she will meet her half of all joint obligations apart from the mortgage as she "suspects" I have tenants living in it, I e-mailed her lawyer stating that this was not the case then the lawyer stated that if I was then living in it that I would be due to pay my wife rent therefore she still would not pay her half of the mortgage!! What can I do? Should I get my own solicitor? Thanks clever people!!

Sit tight, pay the mortgage to keep a roof over your head and basically, fu@k 'er, she walked out. Oh, and change the locks aswell, in case she comes back and relieves you of the Tv etc...
I would get your own solicitor too. Her solicitor will say to you what she wants him to say.
I agree with McNoodle too but you need a legal brain in your corner.
