what can i use to clean my cast iron bath. it never comes up very gleaming!!!

If it is an enamel bath, it might suggest that it is old, and the surface has been scratched, worn and damaged so badly that it will not clean. Re-enamelling might be the answer, but this brings its own problems.
My gran used to fill up her bath with warm water and throw in a few sterident tablets and leave overnight, that seemed to clean it ok.
Hi, I used T-Cut once and it worked well, hard going though.
