Ur anus?
You would have to be an anus to give your kid a name as stupid as that.

Charles (Charlie)
Daniel
Christopher (Chris/Kit)
Stephen

I'm thinking traditional rather than old but Charlie is lovely for a little boy and he can be Charles when he gets older.

Ruby is a fire-red jewel, so what about a boy's name derived from the Irish for fire? : Aidan.
Max ...it's suited my son as a baby, toddler, child and now a 14 year old he loves it thinks it's cool. When he's older it will still be fine as some people thought it was an old mans name to start with! Did you just want boy's names? Cos Lydia is a cool girls name too, old (it's in the bible) and also made trendy by Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice..
Forgot to say, I think Vince is a good name, some people may frown, but personally I think you'd be setting a trend, I know some cool people called Vince in their 40's, but I do mean cool, trendy people. I can see it working. Depending on your surname and whether you want a middle name Vince Oliver or Vince Lawrence sounds good I think. I like it cos it has one syllable, don't ask me why I like one syllable names!!
I adore the name Lorcan, which is Irish and means 'little wild one'. It's traditionally a boy's name, but can work for either.

I assume you know your baby's going to be a boy? If you don't, what about Em or Jade for a girl (unless you subconsciously link the latter with Ms Goodie, of course)?
I've just read back to Curiousity's post, and I remember my son, now 23, used to have a friend at school called Vincent. A lot of biker parents used it for their boys. My own son is a Kenneth, known as Kenny. However he has little objection to any of his peers calling him Ken, which I always sought to avoid, but hey, if he's happy with it. It's a Scottish/Gaelic name meaning 'born of fire'.

I find this site useful when looking for names for fictional characters:

Watch it, though - it's full of (fairly harmless) pop-ups and flashy things.
