No I get £120 in my current one.

If they ask in interview why did I leave care home what do I say?

Abbey, if you are still doing 21 hours at the laundry job, £120 per week is not enough.

Have you had your hours cut??

We've been through this before abbey. I think you are wrong. That would be well below minimum wage

Question Author

£152 highest I've and no I haven't

You need your mum to help you understand your pay slip and sort out your tax code. I can see Lankeela's point about your learning difficulties- most of our advice on  previous posts has been ignored

Was wondering about Floko who used to advise you, Abbey  ...  see the name is User-Inactive  ..  did you know this person?  Sorrry for diverging from subject.

Question Author

All I'm asking is when I go to interviews if I put in my cv I've left care home, what do I tell future interviews if they ask why I left.

Abbey, instead of jumping into another cleaning job, could you not a) get your tax code sorted and b) work really hard, really well in your current job? That's not to stop you looking out for a full-time job, but it'd stop this run of ... you not doing well.

You've said this before and you've repeatedly been told what does it say on your payslip. It is illegal to not get a payslip from any of your jobs (I've lost count).

That will show what you get paid an hour and what rate of tax is being deducted. If you can't get that sorted you have no hope of doing that quite complicated JD you posted that you're planning on interviewng for (just for the experience?).

Abbey, if you don't get your tax stuff/code sorted out now, chances are you'll have similar problems in your next job. It's not a major thing to deal with, most people have little blips with tax stuff occasionally. You've had clear advice, plenty of it, from helpful ABers - why don't you heed it?

Question Author

That what I mean I want to do well and enjoy a job.

No I haven't had p45 either from care home.

Well if you tell them the truth you will look inept so you need to tell them the truth that doesn't make you look inept

Question Author

That they cut my hours

Abbey, it's easy enough to say 'I want to do well' but actions matter! I thought that you'd make a real effort (in the cleaning job) because you got it so wrong in the care home.  That didn't happen, and the cleaning place moved you because... you didn't do well (enough). Are you sure cleaning is right for you?

What about  a 9 - 5 office job, Abbey?

Question Author

I don't mean cleaning like warehouse or office maybe

Does that mean you're not going to pursue the school cleaner role?

Abbey can you tell me why they cut your hours?

Abbey, do you have office experience - recent, relevant experience? And I know your last job in a warehouse didn't work out, but had you previous experience of that kind of work?

PS If your CV still shows the care home as 'to present', what would you say at interview if you were asked, 'How much notice would you have to give to ABC Care Home?'.  You'd get in a muddle or have to tell lies... not an ideal start!

Before you (possibly) accept this job, you must find out if it is temporary, and if so, for how long
