morning, Sunday already, where has this week gone to. I hope that you are all well and that your day is a good one. I have been invited to brunch at a friends later this afternoon, which will be great. They are doing a fry up apparently which i haven't had for ages. Also i will watch the service from the Cenotaph, which i do every year, with a grateful heart for our wonderful armed services, the Veterans and those who march on behalf of others.
indeed we wouldn't have the life we have now, if it weren't for brave men and women. I met a veteran and his wife yesterday in the local, we had a long chat, he had been a sailor aboard HMS Tiger, not sure where he served but he will be in the march past this morning. Lovely couple.
the couple i mentioned were on a pub crawl, finding out about their history - they had come down from Skipton in Yorkshire for a couple of days so he could be in the march past today, lovely man
Morning. Nothing particular planned for today, just work.
My arm is beginning to settle now following my double jabs on Friday. Ironically I've been feeling terrible for weeks, I had the jab on Friday and felt awful and woke up on Saturday feeling better than I'd felt in ages.
I honestly think water and rest are the best medicines.
And apparently there is a piece of furniture my great grandfather made that is now displayed in Skipton Hall.
Doubt my furnishings will become museum pieces;-(
