Well, most Germans were churchgoers, Christians to boot, so was it a Christian atrocity?

After all, the Christians did have ‘previous’ with Jews.

It wasn’t done in the name of Christianity, so......No.
Now is when we need theland... hope he is well n getting medical help if needed. Everyone thinking of him!

To answer your q tho ... I don’t think it is a Christian atrocity because the heinous acts weren’t committed in the name of any religion... rather it was the German RACE that hitler insisted on preserving.
no
No.

The Catholic church in Germany are guilty of turning a blind eye, but the blame goes to the sociopaths who ran the country.

So what’s the difference between Moslem nutters and nominally Christian ones?

The sacking of Jerusalem, slaughtering mainly women and children, was certainly done in ‘The Lord’s name’.

My plea is for a less unthinking use of the term ‘Islamic murder’.
Perlease!
Whoops, timeslip.
Oh I see. Allen set a trap boys and girls and, silly us, we fell into it. Next week on Jackanory.........
No. The Pope did do a deal with Hitler, as I vaguely remember, so that they were left alone - a huge stain, but done to save lives (I'm not an R.C.). Kinder, Kuche, Kirche was a mantra - but nothing to do with the holocaust.
dunno about a trap, after getting his April kicked over the "unknown soldier" thread he thought he'd try and do a pro islamic Terrorist thread. What next Allen? I can't wait!
"Perlease!

As a wannabe cockaneeeee barra boy, should it not be "Pearlies!"?

Allen, If you took the trouble to do your homework before putting finger to key you wouldn’t be asking that question. And no, the holocaust wasn’t a Christian atrocity. Something else you need to work on. Best you abandon this now.

Haaaa! Not possible cos everyone's had the book thrown at them ;-)
R.O.P. etc is the same lazy labelling that Hitler used to demonise the Jews before committing a huge atrocity on them.

So when we drop thousands of bombs on Baghdad and Kabul (and kill hundreds of thousands), in a demonstration of ‘shock and awe’, we are awed, and applaud rather than shocked.

Then 20 years later, TTT can claim the moral high ground (because we have conveniently forgotten our own atrocities).
It's an illness I tell you.......................
Interesting question. Perspectively speaking.
Not at all excusing the despicable killings of a few dozen innocent victims in random attacks in European capitals.

But the victims will soon be forgotten like the 800,000 slain in Iraq and Afghanistan.

No, of course the Holocaust wasn't a 'christian atrocity' (although don't forget it WAS largely carried out by christians).

And as Sunk points out, also remember the many atrocities carried out by 'our' side, both recently and in the dimmer past.

Yet many of you are prepared to condemn the many millions of devout, non-violent Moslems on the basis that the nutter who killed the French teacher shouted 'Islamic' phrases as he committed his awful deed.

It is not an 'Islamic' murder. It is a murder.

I dont remember Jerusalem being the name of a concentration or death camp in Germany (*) but that is me

(*) yeah yeah I know there were no death camps inside the German border ( smaller border that is) they were all planned in the east
No, it was a fair haired blue eyed atrocity.
